CAVE Awards and Scholarship

Long's Award for Outstanding CAVE Volunteer is given to recipients who have demonstrated outstanding service as a field volunteer. This award of $500 is given annually and presented at the University Awards Ceremony. Application due April 2, 2010.

Community Affairs Council Awards for Outstanding CAVE Staff Member is given to a CAVE staff member for his/her outstanding commitment to the philosophy of volunteer service as demonstrated by their contributions while on CAVE staff. This cash award of $250 is given each semester to a deserving recipient who must be a current CAVE staff member and a full time student in good standing at CSU, Chico. Application due April 2, 2010.

Ron Rohde Scholarship is in memory of his father of the same name. Ron completed both bachelors and masters at CSU, Chico and later served as part-time faculty in the department of Communication Design. Additionally, Ron was actively involved with CAVE where he helped manage and promote the Project Pals Program. This award of $1,000 is given twice a year to a full-time undergraduate student who volunteers at least five hours per week at CAVE. Application due April 2, 2010.
