Stacey Weston - Teacher, Modoc Room

While pursuing my degree in Child Development I have been very fortunate to gain knowledge in the field through a variety of work experiences.  I had the opportunity to serve as a Program Instructor for the city of Sacramento's S.T.A.R.T. program, leading at risk youth in enrichment, academic, and physical education programs.  Shortly after leaving the S.T.A.R.T. program, I was given the opportunity to teach a pre-k class at a local Sacramento preschool.  It was here that I decided to pursue my dream of working with young children and their families.

I have now been in the early childhood education field for 6 years, and have since earned my Bachelor of Arts in Child Development, as well as my Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.  I am incredibly thankful to be apart of the ASCDL staff and look forward to the years to come.
