Forebay Aquatic Center, Assistant Manager
Under general direction of the Aquatic Center Manager, this position is to assist in development, implementation, and management in all aspects of Forebay Aquatic Center youth programs, special events, rental center, maintenance and instructional courses.
Experience:
A minimum of one year of increasingly responsible experience required in an aquatic based or outdoor recreation program. Implementation, training, supervision, and management experience preferred. Familiarity with program administration, staff supervision, working with youth and college students, and equipment and facility maintenance. Prefer experience in one or more of the following skills: sailing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, wake boarding, windsurfing, etc.
Special Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Possession of or ability to obtain a current First Aid/CPR Certification, Lifeguard Training Certification, and the California Department of Boating and Waterways safe boating course.

WREC Group Exercise Instructor (SPIN)
The WREC Group Exercise department is hiring substitute instructors for Spin classes.
Qualifications:
National Spinning certification required; First Aid and Adult CPR/AED certifications should be current or obtained before applicant begins employment; demonstrated communication, organizational and leadership skills; commitment to customer service and effective interpersonal communication skills; applicants must have prior cycling experience; prior participation in WREC spin classes is preferred
Typical Duties:
- Assist in the daily operation of the group exercise program
- Assist with special events to promote the group exercise program and the WREC
- Flexible availability needed to teach scheduled classes, occasionally with little notice
