Take a look at some of our intern/staff accomplishments from 2008-2009

The amount of recycling collected by AS recycling staff is equivalent to saving:

• Over 45,900 gallons of oil.  This could fuel a car traveling from Chico State to the White House and back 5 1/2 times!
  
  
• 11 billion BTUs of energy.  This could continually run a 100 watt light bulb for 8,756 years

Interns:

• Reached 750 people during compost workshops
• Reached 172 people during recycling workshops

Students used $56,000 in funding sustainable projects through the SFAC
