Take a look at some of our intern/staff accomplishments from 2009-2010The amount of recycling collected by AS recycling staff is equivalent to saving:
- Over 587,880 gallons of oil. This could fuel a car traveling from Chico State to the White House and back 2,556 times!
- 23,895,410 kWh of energy. This could continually run a 100 watt light bulb for 27,278 years!
Interns:
- Reached 750 people during compost workshops
- Reached 172 people during recycling workshops
Students used $56,000 in funding sustainable projects through the SFAC
