Pool FAQs & Policies

The WREC pool dimensions are 25 yards by 25 meters.

There are 300,000 gallons of water in the WREC pool.

Diving is allowed in the WREC pool only in the specified areas marked.

The maximum depth of the WREC pool is 7'3".

The maximum capacity for the WREC hot tub is 24 persons.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the WREC pool or hot tub.

Food is allowed on the WREC pool deck, but not in the pool or hot tub.

The WREC pool will be used for lap swimming, leisure, floating, club sports, classes and lessons.

Only swimwear is allowed to be worn in the WREC pool, no cutoff jeans, athletic shorts or any other non swimwear is to be worn.

There are 8 lanes available for lap swimming in the WREC pool.

Fitness/Weight Room FAQs & Policies

Only appropriate gym/or athletic attire may be worn in the fitness/weight room, no jeans, sandals or other open toed shoes are allowed.

All users must re-rack their weights in the appropriate location. All bars should be stripped after use and dumbbells returned to the rack in the proper order.

Weights are to be moved from the racks to the bar only. They are never to be set on the floor or leaned against walls, mirrors or equipment.

All machines and equipment must be wiped down after use with the cleaner and towels provided by WREC staff.

All equipment must remain in the fitness/weight room.

All members must share equipment and floor space.

The stretching areas must be kept organized, please re-rack medicine balls, stack mats and place stability balls on racks.

Food, gum and tobacco are prohibited in the fitness/weight room.

Bags, backpacks and cell phones are not allowed in the fitness/weight room.

Please use a "spotter" when working with heavy free weights.
